Dear bf, Happy Monthliversary!!!

We usually celebrate our monthliversary at those fancy and cosy restaurant, candle light dinner for 2 and soft music(good excuse to treat ourselve with good food and wine). But bf decided that we have something special instead of the usual dinner celebration. He chose to bring me to Westin for their buffet breakfast. This is my all-time favourite breakfast place and have been begging bf to bring me there since the last time we went.

Made an effort to wake up at 6.30am on a SUNDAY morning..That's unbelievable!!!!Yawn..i still miss my bed.....Can I sleep in for another minute???

Rang our gang, Adrian and my sis, to join us for breakfast at Westin...

Tah tah......Finally we reached Westin and ready to start our food marathon....Bon Appetite!!!

Set an appointment to meet the gals->the forever pretty Alyssa and Cute&funny Jen Pey at The Curve. This is the 1st meet-up together after 'dono-how-many-years'(at least more than 5 years..gee, that's really long). All because of Alyssa, she has been MIA for soooooooo long... :P

We had sooooo much fun chatting and eating and gossipping....just like the old days.......and I must take this opportunity to congrates Alyssa, who will be a newly wed bride soon......Wow, all my close friends are getting married.....it makes us feel that we're getting older as the time goes by.....

Friday, Friday, here I come......

It was finally Friday night. Had a 'date' with my good friend, Connie, after work at Quattro Bar. Rushed to the destination after work, partly to avoid the mad Friday Nite traffic jam(and was drizzling outside..), and partly to go for a quick shop before dinner time...hehehehe....

Managed to shop for about 30 minutes at KLCC, bought nothing except japanese junk food again!!!''Ring..Ring..!Ring..Ring..!''Connie arrived, I better make a move for dinner...

Quattro @ Avenue K is described as a place transcending 4 season all in 1 roof. Winter, Autumn, Spring and Summer. All decorated with an artistic piece of ambience. Who says you need to get away from Malaysia to discover 4 season!?!?

We chose to dine at Summer, a sunny and cozy alfresco seating eatery which serve from italian cousine, Thai to typical Malaysia cousine, you name it!!!

We had lots of fun and chatted everthing, from work to wedding preparation, up to how's life with kid..Yeah..you may think it's just those boring 'aunty-to-be' topic, but we still had lots of fun!Gulping down our favourite cocktails glasses by glasses....It was such a relaxing evening with rain drizzling outside and cozy live band performing at Quattro bar....

Why time passed so fast when we were having fun?? Time to go home as both of us are not driving, so gotta depend on our chauffeur( bf, you've got a new title now, my driver..hehehe) to fetch us. Yup, we purposely didn't wanna drive, so that we can drink to the max and get drunk...

Connie, when is our next gal-nite-out??Next month same date??Faster go find out other chic places to chill out....

I've heard millions and millions of brides complained how tidious and troublesome to plan for the dream wedding every bride would want, but I never understand why is it so hard to plan something, especially that is one of the most important thing in life...Cheer up! Should enjoy the process of it, Rite?

Well..I fully understand the feeling now!! 'm going through a tough 'yoyo ride' and gonna have physical + mental breakdown anytime. Today was actually the last day for us to revert for the wedding dinner coz there are 3 other couples who are on waiting list. But last minute, future parents-in-law suggested to host it at another location...I'm trapped in dilemma!!

As at this moment, I'm clueless where will my wedding reception gonna be, and it's just 7 months away from now....HELP!!~!~!~!~!~!

Dear readers, appreciate your advice/comment/suggestion on preparation for wedding. Anything, any topic...from theme color, dress code, flower deco, wedding favours, to dinner menu. Do drop me your valuable suggestion yeah.......THANKS!!!

Thanks God it's Sunday!!!!I felt bad for not turning up at church for more than 2 months. Gee...I'm a devil-->Should rephrase it to The Devil Wears Prada!!!! Wuahahahaha.......

Today I did something meaningful for my body. Went for body massage at my favourite beautyshop, Kanebo, at Starhill. Facial/ massage/spa was(and is, and will be) my favourite past time......But i can only afford to go there fortnightly :(

Glad that I did not have to wait for long before my turn for massage this time. Started off with foot spa while sipping their famous Apricot Red Tea and muching on dried apricot, and at the same time reading some fancy magazine...Wow, I felt refresh and healthy..

Then came the body massage I've been longing for. WWwwooooOOoooooWWwwww......This is soooooo good! I know i might sound over exaggerate, but the service they provide everytime during my visit never fail to impress me.....I feel like flying up the sky.......

Nothing beats pampering myself to such luxuries at times......

Gals, trust me. You'll never regret after you've tried their services. Gee...should charge them for helping them to promote hor.... :P

Help.......I was soooooooo hungry, so did my bf!! He suddenly felt like eating his all-time favourite dish when he was staying in Perth-- Fatt San Chicken! Couldnt find it anywhere in Malaysia(that's what he said'lah'!!).

So he decided to be the chef of the night with the limited ingredient we could find from the hypermarket before headed back home to start our big task...

Since bf was in the mood to be the chief chef, I just sat down and blog a bit while waiting for a sumptious meal.Bf in action~~Chef Of The Nite!!

Tahhhhh tahh.......Finally, dinner was ready!!!! Eeyy, I finally discovered the desperate house'husband' every gals would die to have....Guess I don't have to worry about cooking next time, since he's good at it too...*~*Hint, Hint to bf! Don't ask me to cook everyday after married, please!! FYI, I'm not your maid ah!) :P

Confession of a shopaholic certainly suits me. Continue reading and you'll know what I mean...

Went to KLCC with my bf for the bridal fair coz it claimed to be one of those international fair whereby you'll get a lot of info especially for wedding in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Managed to stroll through all the booths within an hour. For those who are planning to go to this bridal fair, please think twice!! Nothing much, nothing interesting, nothing extraordinary, just another bridal fair(and you gotta pay for da entrance fee).

Bf suggested to go Pavillion since we were around the area and too early to go home. No intention to shop, just to pass time since it was still early. Guess he had made the wrong decision. I went into 1 departmental store and managed to grab 2 pairs of high heels within an hour. Yeah...another pair to add on to my wedding shoes collection. I know, i know...I've just made a statement in my blog earlier that I'll just make do with 1 pair of shoes for my wedding...but I guess it just went off my mind..hehehehe.....

As my bf saw my shopaholic behavior started to 'take charge', took me home before I fill the whole car with shopping gooddies.....Bad bf, I wanna shop somemore lah....... :(

Sushi, sushi, sushi....I've been thinking of you for the past few weeks. It's been quite awhile since I last had japanese buffet.(Read me--> I'm dying for Japanese buffet, not those typical ala carte meal!!!). Guess the last time i actually had an authentic Japanese buffet was in Jogoya during Christmas season....Yeah, it's been like ages!! (But i just went for dinner at Sakae Sushi last nite...ssshhhh...)

Today, my colleagues sent me a forwarded email regarding japanese buffet promotion. Good timing!!!!Read the email and straight away forwarded it to my bf *~*to hint hint if he knows what he's suppose to do lor*~* ''Faster.............Book...................!'' was his reply. It was a really short one, but that was the answer I wanted.

Without hesitation, took up the receiver and dialed Yaki-Yaki Restaurant's number. *Ring, Ring* *Ring, Ring* *Hello, Yaki -Yaki Restaurant, how may i help you?*blah blah blah....managed to make reservation for 2 tonite after work at 8pm.....Excited!!!

{In between, working like mad cow, non-stop. Working in an insurance line is never an easy job, especially when it comes to clauses, warranties, exclusion...somewhat like a lawyer's job, reading about all the Acts}

Finally came 7.15pm when we left office to our next destination. Was glad enough that I could leave office early today...Headed to the restaurant located nearby Plaza Low Yat. Great, traffic was smooth....piew~~~~

My favourite soft shell crab temaki, here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I know i sound like an idiot when eating temaki at buffet. Should eat sashimi, stupid!!!!!! BUT...I don't take raw stuff lah......My friends always scold me when eating japanese buffet, coz i missed out all the good and expensive stuff..... And wasn't I suppose to be on strict diet?Oh well, who cares, the word 'diet' just freak me out and I can never give up on good food. Sorrylah my dear bf, you'll be marrying a big fat donut soon.....

Frankly, ambience was so-so, and food was eerrr........no comment. Don't expect too much when you're paying 50% off the total bill. But I think bf was enjoying very much with the young coconut drink, he had gulp down almost 10 of the young coconut all by himself....hope he wouldn't get tummy ache after the meal.....Food spread was rather limited, but you get to do your own bbq rather just the 'plain eating' most japanse restaurants are doing.....

Conclusion, nothing to shout about for this new outlet. I don't think I'll be going back for another round unless there's promotion since price is similar to what Jogoya/Tenji is offering.....

Kam, should have listened to your advice on the food here oh.....

I've been watching the preview and hearing through radio station regarding the hit movie named, 'Confession Of A Shopaholic' lately . It's gonna be in cinema soooOOOoooNnnnn.....YEAH!!!!!

This is one of the movie that I can't affort to miss out. partly because I'm a big Sophie Kinsella(writer of the book 'Shopaholic) fan and partly because it tells all about shopping shopping and shopping....ya ya ya...nothing else but shopping!!!!!

For those who doesn't know this writer, you better start heading to bookstore and grap a book written by this writer. Trust me, you're gonna fall in love once you read it, especially on Shopaholic. I've got the whole set of collection from this writer and guess what! I'm still waiting for her next big book......
Don't you think that shopping is the best remedy for gals, no matter if the mountain gonna fall or the sea gonna flood the whole world....

Today bf decided to go Amcorp Mall for its Sunday flea market, and partly because we are bored with the shopping malls around KL(have been regular customers to most of the shopping malls), and partly to distract me from going for shopping again. He sure knows me well, cant go home without a bag of new shoes or dress.....

Interestingly they were this Mini Cooper contest right in front of the field at Amcorp Mall....Amazed at how people being so creative, turned an old junk into a piece of art....

Thanks goodness, it's finally Saturday!!!!Woke up early to wait for my maid to come and clean the house. Who knows, she called up and said not coming today!!!Wah, maids nowadays is more powerful than boss ley, dare to 'fong fey gei'...

Then went down to Starhill for facial while bf went for gym...That's what we call LIFE!!!!Time to pamper ourselves, relax and forget about work. I'm day dreaming to be a rich man's wife, pamper oneself with spa and facial, shop only for branded stuff and be seen only at highclass shopping malls and dining place....OOppsss!!!Wake Up...Don't day dream first, I still haven't finished writing lah.....

Headed to KLCC for Bridal Festival. Aiks, only realised I got the date wrong, it's next week lah..Sorry, my dear bf, we go KLCC again ya next week.... :P Since we were already at KLCC, used the time wisely to shop around. SooooOOooooo many sales going on, but I need to be good gal, not to indulge myself with shopping again. Or else I'll really need to convert the guest room at my house to a dressing rooms lor...

Since I've been good gal today, didn't buy anything apart from junk food at M&S(my favourite junk food store), bf suggested to bring me for buffest at Sheraton Imperial (again....we just went there 2 weeks ago. Nothing to shout about for the food there, but bf just love the free flow wine they serve all night long.....)But it was only 5PM and too early for buffet dinner, and bf was too hungry after gym. Ended up at KFC to fill our tummy instead...

As it was still early after our KFC meal(and it was not even 6pm, luckily we did not wait for the buffet which starts about 6.30pm), we headed to Bangsar for cake.....Delicious again?Or Alexis???Or Banquet???

This round we decided to go for blueberry yogurt cake at Marmalade instead.

Disappointedly, they did not serve blueberry yogurt cake today, so we had the all-time favourite carrot cake which was highly recommended by one of the staff....It was really sumptious, but nothing much to shout about for this round, coz both of us had tried it before.....But we did enjoy ourselves and felt relax at such ambience. What a relax Saturday Nite......

'Un'HaPp3NiNg FriDaY

Yeah!!! It's finally Friday nite!!!!Friday fever...the night to drink, drank, drunk...the night to dance til sun rise...the night to stay awake....BUT, I think I'm getting older nowadays, no 'energy' to hang out and get drunk. Instead, went for dinner and did some groceries at The Curve, then headed back home for my bed.

Why is it not weekend????I've been attacked by lazy bug, don't feel like working today. Just received a sms from my very close friend inviting me to Gals-Nite at my hometown end of this month...Gee, i really wish i own a private jet so that i can fly back anytime. For those who doesn't know, the only means to get to my hometown from where I'm currently staying is by plane(u can try swimming, but afraid you'll end up in the shark's tummy before you give up swimming... :P )

It does sound interesting to have Gals-Nite(or shall i say morning too), soaking under the sun, relaxing spa, get drunk and gossiping like no one's business.....Oh, I've no motivation to work today

Boss, can I go 'MC' or 'EL' for 1 day? No mood to work ley.....

A DaY At Th3 GyM

I must mark this day, the day when my sports shoes 'come alive' again. Have signed up for the gym more than half a year a go, but only been there for less than 5 times(or even lesser). My bf has been nagging me for days,weeks, months....to go foy gym, but I just cant bring my butt up and go to gym.

Guess I'm a totally different bride-to-be. Normally one will be eager to lose weight and try all sorts of diet plan and force herself to gym at least 5 times a week. But I'm just a lazy bug who doesn't bother it at all, afterall, there's a high technology nowadays that called 'Adobe Photoshop' that can modify or beautify your ugly wedding photo into the prettiest photos ever..

The sun must have risen from the west today. I managed to force myself to gym(although only spent less than an hour there) and only burned 120 calories...I'm such a loser when it come to exercise nowadays...

I shall be more persistant since I've made the first step. My resolution for the next couple of months will be heading to gym at least 3 times a week...*finger cross* :P

A PaiR Of HaPpiN3sS...

Hurray.....finally found the Cinderella wedding shoes I've been searching high and low for the past 2 days...(ooppss..yeah...i know i should have spent more time searching, but i just don't have the patience, or rather a shopaholic, cant miss out a chance to buy, especially when i have a good and valid excuse to spend this round).

I feel kinda guilty after buying that pair of shoes coz I'm just gonna wear it once for my registration, then it'll be out of my sight.....Trying to persuade myself to wear it for my photo shooting in May, or perhaps for my actual day...Afterall, who's gonna bother what kind of shoes I am wearing(except for myself!). **But finger cross** With my attitute, I may head to the shopping mall for another pair of nice shoes very soon......

Guess I'm totally qualify to be a shopaholic.....

I've been looking forward to today, and has had sleepless night for the pass couple of days. And it's finally here, the day for me to choose my wedding gown for photo shooting(come to think bout it, what to shout about since it's only choosing gown for pre-wedding photo shooting, and it's not for the actual day).

Eagerly waiting to finish all my work so that I don't need to stay back for OT...rushed to the bridal shop with my bf and my 2 beloved friends cum bride-to-be waiting for me to help me with wedding gown hunting.....

Without further delay, headed to the dressing room and showed off our shopaholic power' to search for a nice piece...Time passed and have tried on a number of pieces, but still cant find the 1 that I truely fall in love with. Don't carelah, since there's no other choices(I've tried all the best one in the store), so just choose the few better ones. Thanks Nee and Connie for giving sooo much opinion and helped me to make up my mind, or else I couldn't have chosen any of those.....And my bf was telling me''don't worry if can't find a nice piece for the photo shooting, afterall the most important thing is make sure the photographer does his job well during the shooting. I'll get you the one that you truely like for your actual day. Deal?'' That says all, no more nagging and grumbling bout the limited dress they have at the bridal shop....

Mission completed. Waiting for my pre-wedding photo shooting in May now.....Wondering if I have ample time to lose a few more pounds before the shooting. I don't wanna end up being a big fat donut taking photos lah.....

It's been quite a while since we last had a department outing. I guess the last 1 was during christmas season at Jogoya, Starhill, when we had sumptious lunch, but that was an express 1, coz need to rush back for work after that :(

Boss knew we have been working extremely hard lately and decided to organise for a karaoke session...Excited!!!It's been such a long time(i couldn't ever recall..) since the last time i was in karaoke...But there was a problem, the whole KL was pouring like cats and dogs! How are we gonna get out from office or even avoid the terrible jam?!?! But this wouldnt stop us from our karaoke.

Off we went..Lukily we managed to avoid the traffic jam and reached the shop safely. Started off with buffet dinner, filled our tummy and stored more energy to conquer the mic afterward...

(I better skip the singing part, or else will bore u guys til zzzz..)But photos says it all-->We Had A Great Time, til our boss oso 'beh tahan' hehehehe....But just to let u all know that, my boss is a karaoke 'kaki' too, coz he would 'fight' the mic with us...

St3AmbOat On A RaiNy Nit3...

Yeah, we finally decided to have steamboat at my place tonite(after talking about this for the pass months...)

Early in the morning, nagged my bf to wake up so we could do some groceries for the big nite. Yes, he finally woke up! Went to Carrefoure @ Cheras since bf needs to meet up with his staff there. But before our mission started, we both were hungry and curious the stall just around the corner which serve juicy Char Siew! That really caught our eyes, and bf claimed that that is a very famous stall(according to his friend seja lah...). With hesitation, we tried..BUT nothing special bout it oso, not up to our expectation gey....Luckily a cheap meal, RM10.50 for both of us only...

Then groceries time!!!!Was excited browsing the rack(i know, that's the best alternative to shop for clothes and shoes!!But i gotta be good gal, cant spend $$ on shopping anymore since my 'Big Day' is around the corner and we need to save up for honeymoon). Not bad, shopping for groceries!!!At least i'm qualify to be an aunty or housewife..hehehehe....

Off we went home...Cleaned up the messy house(it looked like it has be blown by a tornado before), and prepare for the steamboat....Cut, Cut, Cut, Chop, Chop, Chop.....la la la.....Sometimes i really enjoy being a housewife(but that only lasts for 3 minutes lah....)

Suddenly, it rained heavily and i was sooo worry that no 1 would turn up for dinner.....Waited til 6pm, 6.15pm, 6.30pm....Time flies...Finally, my sis turned up at 7pm, followed by Lau who came at 7.30pm....But where're the rest of our gang????I started to panic, what if they decided not to turn up or postpone? Luckily my phone rang at 8pm. Guess who? Angeline, Adrian and Cheng Leong arrived at last....

We had a great time cooking and eating, and trying our best to finish all the food(yeah, i know i should be dieting for my wedding, but, who can resist good food!!!). Halfway thru the dinner, we managed to turn the living room into a mini theather, and enjoying watching Slumdog Millionnaire....

Happy moments do pass easily....We had to call it a nite when everyone left at bout 12am.....When can we have another round of 'dinner nite in'???

Wah..time really flies....it's the last day of Feb 2009, and it's a lovely and sunny Saturday. What did I have in mind today??

Yes, it's to have my Registration of Marriege dress done. Managed to find a chic place to tailor made my Registration gown. Wow, wow, wow!!Im so excited.....Been doing a lot of research from the internet and magazine on what kind of dress I wanna have for my registration....At last, discovered out of the blue, decided to have a short 'just-above-the-knee-length' dress...

So the tailor had my measurement done and ready to start our big project...but i gotta wait til mid April before my dress is ready, cant wait to see the final piece ley......
