Birthday 2013

Just got home and was tired from a days work. But when I see Jayden's sweet smile, I know that I have the best life in the world.

Jayden treated me like a queen today. When we got home in the evening, he ran over to the corner (where I usually put my indoor slipper) and took my slipper, then slipped it onto my foot. I melted instantly! I never expect an 18 months old toddler would be so smart to do so, not to mention that treating me like the luckiest queen on my birthday! That was indeed the best birthday gift I've ever received.

Although we did not have lavish birthday parties, no luxurious birthday gifts, no fancy 8 course candle light dinner, no custom-made birthday cakes, but I just felt contentet because I have the best hubby and son in the world! They are my pillar of strength and my everything in life. That is all I ask for in life- my perfect and happy little family!


note: hubby bought 2 slices of cakes from the neighbourhood bakery store and was planning to have a small cake cutting ceremony with me so that I could blow candle and make wishes. However, he dozed off(like a dead piggy) while I was putting Jayden to sleep. The cakes slices of cakes are still pack nicely in the fridge!Hahaha....

Happy 3rd Wedding Anniversary

We haven't had our own private time with each other since the birth of Jayden. So this year's anniversary, we made an effort to take leave from work and spend some quality time with each other. No fancy dressup dinner nor expensive gift, but just a relax day with each other, catching up those 2-person-world life.

Started of with running some errand at the bank before we proceed to some good food at Gonbei San, Starhill.Food was somehow so-so only, but we had a relaxed and quiet afternoon together.

Then headed to H&M and I couldn't help myself when I saw kids clothing. Bought a bagful of new sleepwear to Jayden again.

This is the only thing I bought for myself today- cleansing cream. All my 'budget' goes to buying Jayden's stuff nowadays, sigh....

 

After that we headed for coffee, our favourite leisure activity even during pak Tor time. We had to admit that both of us were enjoying the quality time together, but deep inside our heart we miss Jayden very much. We talk about him a lot the whole day, and hubby kept looking at his watch, wanted to fetch Jayden from the nanny's house even before 4pm. Well, I agreed with his suggestion too since I miss that little fella sooooo much!

Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to hubby. I love you forever!

Hubby's Surprise Burthday Party

  

Last year it was only the 2 of us during hubby's birthday (Jayden was still in my womb). This year our family has grown from 2 person to 3 person with Jayden's arrival. This will be a very special year for hubby as he is the first time he is celebrating his birthday with Jayden. So this year I've decided to throw hubby a surprise birthday party at home.

Sent hubby to work early in the morning and Jayden to the babysitter so that I could do all the last minute groceries and preparation. I only had about 4 hours to get this party ready.

Bought a beautiful strawberry tart cake from RT Pastry. It was loaded with strawberries on top of the cake, yummy!

Rushed home to get the decoration done up. Then fetched Jayden back home from the babysitter to give his daddy a big surprise. 

Tick, tock, tick tock.....

Hubby was supposed to reached home before 2:30pm when I received his SMS saying that he would be late because his staff got some urgent report to do before leaving the office (he was car pulling with his staff).

Decoration was done, but hubby still not home at 2.45pm. All my guests were getting hungry already. But they decided to wait for hubby to come back before starting the big feast.

It's 3.20pm and hubby still not home yet! Gosh, i felt so bad for all my guests as they were really hungry and they only munch on some finger food while waiting for hubby. Finally we decided to eat while wait for hubby.

Finally hubby reached home at about 3.40pm and he was totally surprise to see everyone there! He was thrilled (but acted cool though, hahaha....)!

Happy Father's Day 2012

This is hubby's first official Father's Day since the arrival of Jayden and he was all cheerful the whole day.

As hubby has been craving for dim sum for the pass weeks,i've decided to bring him for buffet instead.had our sumptuous meal at Five Sen5es, Westin Hotel.

The food wasn't bad although we were expecting more varieties on the steamed items. Jayden had lots of fun, enjoying his meal and exploring new flavors.
