Jayden nodded.

Mummy: happy?

He lean over and gave me da sweetest kiss and hug...
 
Oh.... I just melted!!
 
The many sleepless nite of party preparation did paid off because he's given me the best gift in return- an appreciation of my hardworking!

Party Preparation On The Go

Jayden's 2nd birthday is just around the corner, so preparation time is getting shorter and shorter. Gee, sometimes I just I wish have 48 hours in a day and more energy to keep up with my hectic life. By the time I reach home from work and spending some quality time with Jayden before putting him to bed, and clearing up some housechores, I am already like a zombie!

Well, time flies! Party preparation is on the way! And today I've got a little helper- Jayden who tries to keep me occupy with his 101 request e.g. Mummy, make hot air balloon for baby; mummy, Barney ley?; mummy, make juice- juice etc.....

Gave him a paper bag and glue, cut out some hot air balloons templetes and took out some candies from the shelf. He's a happy little boy playing with his new project while mummy gets to prepare some party banner!

Oh, I just love my simple life!

P/s: Jayden is very excited for his upcoming birthday party and has been telling me those guests that he wanna invite.

Emergency Ward Diary

8.6.2013

Viral attacked Jayden again and his fever rose up to 39.5 degrees at midnite.

Rushed him to Prince Court Medical Centre again at 12am, doctor did a quick check and transferred him into the emergency monitoring ward.

Jayden was still very active and kept requesting to wear his shoes so that he could explore around, and kept showing me his 'chi chak! Chi chak! ' camera sign when I told him that medical equipment hanging on top of the bed is a camera( hahaha, I know I've taught him wrongly, but at least I get to distract his attending from running around). The doctor monitored his breathing , then had to check his mouth/ throat and he obediently open up his big mouth. The doctor and nurse were impressed and praised him for being such a good boy! Good job, baby!

Bad news for Jayden when he was given suppository into the buttock then followed by nabuliser. Screamed his lung out and cried nonestop, kept screaming 'mummy' and 'daddy' for help. Is nabuliser really that scary? Everytime when he's given that, he will cry out loud. I'm sorry baby, that's for your own good. But deep inside mummy heart, mummy feels the pain more than u do- it's called heart pain.

After completed his 10 minutes of nabuliser abuse, he finally dozed off and we had to stay at the ward for another hour to monitor his condition.

Good news that his fever, heartbeat and blood pressure were all fine and we were able to discharge at 2am. Then home sweet home we went.

Jayden, please be strong and you will recover soon. Mummy promise to bring you to Kai kai( shoppig) after you have recovered fully , ok? Mummy love you!

Ice Cream Time

Whenever Jayden sees ice-cream, he will '' Wah!!! Ice cream!!'', then licking the ice cream like nobody's business! Hahaha....

Baby Grocery Time

Jayden: Let's see, what shall we buy?

Jayden: Mummy, do you like apple?

Jayden: Or shall we get some nectarines and peaches instead?

Jayden: How about some pear?

Jayden: Mmnnmm, the persimmons look fresh!

Jayden: Looks yummy too!

Jayden: Alright! Let's grap some persimmons then, ok?

Nen Nen王(king)

The first thing Jayden will do in the car when we fetch him from the nanny's house is to find his favourite 'nen nen'( milk). He will climb over the car seat, then sit on my lap/ lying down like a little baby, requesting to latch only my breast. Not to mention that everynight when he wants to sleep or when hes awake from sleep, ' nen nen' is the 1st thing he'll look for. So hubby has given him a new nickname- nen nen 王(黄)- king of milk, which Jayden happily accepted the new nickname he's got.

Hubby: baby, who is nen nen王?
Jayden: baby!

Until recently that he's not too pleased with this nick name and he'll reply us wih the following expression.

Hubby：nen nen王！who is nen nen Wong?
Jayden staring at hubby, gave a stern looks and replied: mmggmmm.....

Hahaha, my cute little nen nen 王!

It's A Happy Day

The conversation took place in the car while we were on the way to gym class.

Daddy: Baby, how are you?
Jayden: Good!

Daddy:Do you like to go to gym class?
Jayden: Like!

Daddy: Are you happy today?
Jayden: Happy!

And they both giggled..... And my heart melted!!

Turtle

We were waiting for the lift while hubby locked the house door before we left for work this morning.

When the lift door opened, I said to Jayden:

Mummy: baby, ask daddy to be faster lah.
Jayden: daddy, faster!
Mummy: daddy always do slow Hor..
Jayden: turtle ah!!!!

I couldn't stop laughing when I heard Jayden's reply. He actually knows that turtle means slow!!!

起来! 坐坐!

As usual in the evening when we are back from work, Jayden and hubby will have their reading time in the bedroom while I have my shower.

Hubby was lying on the bed while Jayden was reading his book. Suddenly, Jayden said to hubby:-

Jayden demanded:'' 起来! 坐坐!"

He demanded hubby to sit next to him and read book together. He's way too smart for a 20 months old toddler to instruction us! Couldn't stop laughing out loud when hubby told me this!

快点啦

We were having our bedtime storybook reading in the bedroom when Jayden suddenly requested me to apply lotion on his legs. He has been constantly asking me to apply lotion for him whenever we are at home. Guess he already knew the importance of grooming at such a young age!

While I was reaching out to get the lotion, he said sternly: ''快点啦!''

Hubby and I couldn't stop laughing. He is sure a demanding baby, huh!!

Our Conversation At The Nite Market

Jayden pointed at the fruit stall.

Mummy: Avacado
Jayden: Avacado

Mummy: Lemon
Jayden: Lemon

Mummy: Orange
Jayden: Orange

Mummy: Apple
Jayden: Apple

And the conversation continued repeating the fruits.....

Bully

Went to fetch Jayden from the nanny house after work today and was told that he made 1 of the elder toddler cried today.

Daddy: who cried today oh?
Jayden: ko ko( the elder toddler named Jaden)

Daddy: baby, how ko ko cried?
Jayden: ( making crying face)

Daddy: who made ko ko cried?
Jayden: baby!( himself- Jayden calls himself as baby)

We couldn't stop laughing out loud! He sure is good at bullying others huh!

Lion Dance Fever

Jayden has been crazy about lion dance since CYN recently. So hubby bought him a lion to play and he had so much fun playing with it everyday. He would shout ouy loud 'dung dung Chiang', running around the house with his lion on his head.

Last year he was still a small little baby of 5 months old,didn't even enjoy watching lion dance, but this year, at age 18 months, he's so fond of watching lion dance. We would rush from 1 place to another just to catch lion dance show. This is something that I've never done in my entire life. A gal like me who never like to watch lion dance nor playing with it, has suddenly enjoy 'chasing' lion dance show around the town, eventhough crowded like sardine and sweaty. I guess spending time with little one meant more than anything to a mum. And I must admit that, I actually enjoy watching lion dance with Jayden.

''Mummy B has been planning for this vintage theme for their family session months ahead and we've been discussing on what to bring & prepare for the shoot. I must say, I'm really impressed & thankful for Mummy B's dedication & detailed preparation. :D

We got Sze Ning to be our prop assistant. All props belong to Little J's family and they took the effort to transport them to our shoot location. Styling & setup by Mummy B herself with the help of Sze Ning while I kept Little J busy with daddy.

We were lucky to have beautiful morning sunlight and good weather. Little J was such a trooper at this field filled with grasses and weeds. He loves to explore & his parents were very encouraging for him to do so.
