Time flies before we realise how fast it is. Today mark our 1st wedding anniversary, and i thank God for providing me with a loving and caring hubby.

It is interesting to see how God has put two different characters persons and mould them to be a wonderful couple. This is God's miracles.

Dear hubby, from day 1 when we first met, you have proved to me that you will be the best hubby in the world. Your unconditional love and care towards me is more than i could ever ask for. I promise to you that i will learn to be the best wife in the world.

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Here i come.......

Went for our 2nd wedding photo shooting yesterday, and this time we were honoured to be the models as doing a favour for Ivy & Louis's upcoming wedding planner cafe. Didn't enjoy the shooting as much as the 1 we had with Anson, instead this round was soooooooooooo damb tired!!!

Started the day at 8am when we gotta reach Ivy's house for make-up preparation--> then drove to Ulu Yam for shooting--> after that, had a late lunch at 3pm before heading back to Ivy's house for a short nap--> started our 'assignment' again at 7pm, got ready and rushed to Putrajaya for night shot. The time we reached Putrajaya was already 10pm, wonder if the photos gonna turn out to be nice...-->11pm, suddenly rain heavily, so ended up for supper instead....

Gee, by the time we reached home, we were totally flat out....

The MeaNiNg Of MaRRiaGe.....

Was chatting with Anson while choosing our pre-wedding photos. Anson shared a meaningful website that really touches my heart regarding a newly-wed couple- Thuy & Javier...

Many times we may have neglected the real meaning of a wedding ceremony. And at times we tense to focus on wedding day itself rather than life after marriage... But the love of this couple really show us what is Love and Marriage..Salute to Thuy and Javier!!!!

Today I've got excuse to get out of office earlier than usual(can't even recall when was the last time I left office this early, everyday work like no day and no nite..sigh...), but phone rang nonestop, there were numerous missed calls from office which I didnt even bother to answer...Coz it's my wedding photo choosing day!!!

We thought we could have the photo choosing process done within an hour and thought that it was quite silly of people using hours when selecting their photos. True enough that we spent not an hour, not 2 hrs, not 3 hrs...but almost 4 hours from choosing photos, adding photos(OoohhhHhhhhh..Anson and Meiz, we 'died' in your hand again this round), selecting frames, album cover etc.......What an experience!!

But we find this a truly interesting and enjoyable moments for pre-wedding preparation.....Cant wait to have our 1st year wedding anniversary photo taking again...(yeah, we've already planned to have 'marriage' photos on every wedding anniversary...)

At LaSt!!!

Hooorrraaaay....Our dream have come through. We're gonna have our garden wedding instead of church wedding, all thanks to my family members who have been supportive and my future in-laws who are very understanding!!! A big thanks to dad, dad-in-law and mom-in-law for fulfulling our wish. Now I can't wait til my actual day......Gee, it's less than 4 months, time flies.....Excited yet worry...... -_-'''''

We were exhausted and hungry after the photo session. Now I can fully understand why models are always so skinny, coz they hardly have time for food during photo shooting...

Our food hunt destination for this round was at buffet steamboat at Tasty Pot at Sunway.

Pre-WeDDing PhoTo SeSSioN PaRt II

Our 2nd session of pre-wedding photo shooting has just begun...

Reached the bridal shop at 11am sharp, but got to know that our make-up artist, Helen, was tied up with department meeting. No worries, since we have got lots of time for the day....Be patience, everything will be just fine...Finally Helen arrived after 30 minutes and started our 'big project' without further delay. Discussed with Helen what type of hairstyle we prefered, any particular colors to use, etc...Helen just knew what we wanted and I trusted her fully.....

After the first 2 hours of make-up, got ready and started off our outdoor shooting @ The Magnificant Fish&Chip at Changkat Alor. Thanks Chia Wei for organising the venue, and thanks Paul for sparing your restaurant for us to complete our shooting.....It was sooooooo much fun! And the venue was just perfect for our shooting effect.....Not forgeting Anson, our professional photographer, who managed to turn a plain scene into something extraordinary...

Then, we headed back to the bridal studio for our indoor shooting. We thought indoor shooting was so much easier and more relax, but we were all wrong. It was such a hectic day, and was tiring than our outdoor shooting in Melacca, but still, fun and exciting!!!!

We managed to finish our shooting at about 7pm, that was quite a long day though....We were down with an empty stomach by then.....

You must have guess where was our next destination then!!Yes, it's food time...

I WaNt My GaRD3n WeDDiNg!!!!!!!!

I'm sure everyone has their fairytale wedding they have been longing for. Same goes to me.....All I want is just a nice and romantic garden wedding with all the guest enjoying the sunny breeze weather and sipping english tea and eating scones..... But my dream wedding seem somewhat like just a dream for me rather than a reality.....

Been wanting a garden wedding more than anything else.... I don't want a church wedding!!! Can anyone hear me?!?!?!?!?! I hate this..and I totally don't enjoy the thought of having a church wedding at all....Isn't it a wedding is all about the bride and groom?? Why do I need to think of others, especially their feelings..... It should be a 'Me! Me! Me' day, because this is a once in a lifetime thing only. Why do I need to listen to what others want me to do and yet I don't enjoy it at all??? Come to think about it, if the bride & groom don't enjoy it, then what is the purpose of having a church wedding!!!

I just hate the whole church wedding thingy...

Oohhh..It was Saturday, but it seem more like a Sunday to me because I did not have to work yesterday!!!!

Couldn't sleep in although it was a weekend. Partly because my photo shooting mood wasn't over yet, and partly because I would be taking my custom-made wedding registration gown today!!!! Yeah.....

After having dim sum with bf at Damansara Uptown, headed to get my gown immediately. Wonder whether my gown would turn up nicely....And it really didn't dissapoint me!! Without much delay, tried the gown and it suit perfectly on me. Bf gave a thumb up too!!!Horray!~!!~!~!

Can't wait to wear it on my Registration Day on 02.09.09......

Reached the studio at 10am. Got ready to start our big task. First thing was da make-up session......It took us almost 2 hours to before the final touch. Piew.....

First time bf had a make-up session, syiok or not to be a star for 1 day??wuhahaha....

We reached Melacca at about 2pm, our butt we totally flat and we were soooo exhausted. Before further delay, we started our shooting. It was soooOOOooooOOoooooo hot out there, and we had to pose, and walked around, and pretend to enjoy the session. Still remember our photographer asked us to pretend that we actually enjoyed the 'sun bath'. OMG, it was like 100 degrees posing under the sun..How to enjoy wor, boss???? And tell you guys a secret, the crew were soooo naughty that they made us pose stupid pose......Made us look like a nerd....Wuahahha, Ah How, you know what I mean rite??Hehehehe.......

My hair-do for 2nd outfit......Flowers sponsored by Mr. Frederick Ng(bf). I made him go to the market to buy that for me early in da morning.........

It was sooooo much fun. We laughed more than shooting. I didnt understand why some of the couples said it was tiring and freaking stressful when it come to photo shooting. Both of my bf and I actually enjoyed it soooooo much...it was more of fun and the stress of 'wedding'......

Gee......our stomach were 'having concert'....So hungry lah, dear....Macam mana?? Still more shooting to go..HELP!?!?!

After shooting, the first thing I suggested was to fill our tummy with those Melacca delicacies...Saliva dropping already..heheheh

Pre-W3ddiNg PhOtO ShOoTiNg PaRt I

Ooohhh......I couldnt sleep for the past few days, partly because worry about my wedding preparation, and partly due to excitement-->my photo shooting day!!!!!Yeah Yeah Yeah......Woke up at 6am this morning and applying my mask while writing blog....In less than 2 hrs, i'll be heading to the studio for my photo shoot....Wish me luck!!!And pray hard it'll be a sunny day, so that i can have my Melacca shoots nicely.......

GoWn FiTTinG For PhoTo ShOoTiNg

The time for gown fitting(for photo shooting) has finally arrived....Been very excited about the gown fitting for the past few weeks, partly was because I was praying hard to at least find a nice piece this round(especially after the last incident when I went for my gown fitting, and partly was because I have read about Nee's blog describing the excitement and unforgettable memories when she went for hers.

So this time I had my appointment on a Sunday( I would not want it to be on a weekday when I gotta rush from office and the mood just wasnt right to choose wedding gowns.....). This round was accompanied by different 'judges'- bf and my elder sister.

Guess my prayer was answered! Had the choosing and fitting in less than an hour. Below are the list of gowns I've chosen for my photo shooting:-

4 wedding gowns
- a long 'train' tube style
- a bareback white and silver piece(which i love it to the max..at least that's 1 of the best piece in the whole shop)
- a flair and soft piece with gold ribbon at the back of the dress
- a sweet mermaid type dress

3 evening gown that consist of
- a red flair and soft Athern style,
- navy green princess style(actually I don't like the color, but I just couldn't find a nicer piece, so no choice..) and
- a purple cheongsam(you guys must be wondering since when I'm into chinese cheongsam, rite?)

Now I'm counting my days for my photo shooting set on 29th May(outdoor) and 7th June(indoor).......Wonder how it feel to be a 'model' for a day!!!

Venue: Our 'home sweet home' room

Procedure: Bf woke me up for work as usual. I was lying on the bed unwilling to wake up. Gosh, I wish it was holiday today.......It was weird that bf was kneeling down next to my bed, so i turned my head to see what was he up to. To my surprise, there was a ring right next to my pillow and he said,'' Will you be my wife?''. He then helped me to put the ring onto my finger, without waiting for me to answer ''Yes'' or ''No''....

I felt funny rather than touched or romantic, that's weird hor.......Guess those romantic proposal scene only happens in movies......

Was jokingly asked him where were the flowers?I thought flowers are a must when come to wedding proposal?!?! He just answered, ''you're holding the flowers already!''. Know what he mean? I was hugging my teddy, and there were flowers at its pink dress!!!!

Is this idea the latest wedding proposal?!?!

I've heard millions and millions of brides complained how tidious and troublesome to plan for the dream wedding every bride would want, but I never understand why is it so hard to plan something, especially that is one of the most important thing in life...Cheer up! Should enjoy the process of it, Rite?

Well..I fully understand the feeling now!! 'm going through a tough 'yoyo ride' and gonna have physical + mental breakdown anytime. Today was actually the last day for us to revert for the wedding dinner coz there are 3 other couples who are on waiting list. But last minute, future parents-in-law suggested to host it at another location...I'm trapped in dilemma!!

As at this moment, I'm clueless where will my wedding reception gonna be, and it's just 7 months away from now....HELP!!~!~!~!~!~!

Dear readers, appreciate your advice/comment/suggestion on preparation for wedding. Anything, any topic...from theme color, dress code, flower deco, wedding favours, to dinner menu. Do drop me your valuable suggestion yeah.......THANKS!!!

A PaiR Of HaPpiN3sS...

Hurray.....finally found the Cinderella wedding shoes I've been searching high and low for the past 2 days...(ooppss..yeah...i know i should have spent more time searching, but i just don't have the patience, or rather a shopaholic, cant miss out a chance to buy, especially when i have a good and valid excuse to spend this round).

I feel kinda guilty after buying that pair of shoes coz I'm just gonna wear it once for my registration, then it'll be out of my sight.....Trying to persuade myself to wear it for my photo shooting in May, or perhaps for my actual day...Afterall, who's gonna bother what kind of shoes I am wearing(except for myself!). **But finger cross** With my attitute, I may head to the shopping mall for another pair of nice shoes very soon......

Guess I'm totally qualify to be a shopaholic.....

W3ddiNg GoWn HunTiNg

I've been looking forward to today, and has had sleepless night for the pass couple of days. And it's finally here, the day for me to choose my wedding gown for photo shooting(come to think bout it, what to shout about since it's only choosing gown for pre-wedding photo shooting, and it's not for the actual day).

Eagerly waiting to finish all my work so that I don't need to stay back for OT...rushed to the bridal shop with my bf and my 2 beloved friends cum bride-to-be waiting for me to help me with wedding gown hunting.....

Without further delay, headed to the dressing room and showed off our shopaholic power' to search for a nice piece...Time passed and have tried on a number of pieces, but still cant find the 1 that I truely fall in love with. Don't carelah, since there's no other choices(I've tried all the best one in the store), so just choose the few better ones. Thanks Nee and Connie for giving sooo much opinion and helped me to make up my mind, or else I couldn't have chosen any of those.....And my bf was telling me''don't worry if can't find a nice piece for the photo shooting, afterall the most important thing is make sure the photographer does his job well during the shooting. I'll get you the one that you truely like for your actual day. Deal?'' That says all, no more nagging and grumbling bout the limited dress they have at the bridal shop....

Mission completed. Waiting for my pre-wedding photo shooting in May now.....Wondering if I have ample time to lose a few more pounds before the shooting. I don't wanna end up being a big fat donut taking photos lah.....
