The Power Of Love

Tummyache

Baby suddenly fussed cried out loud nonstop when I tried to carry him tonite. I thought he must be naughty again (as usual), especially when he is sleepy.

Little did I know that he was actually having tummyache.His forehead and tummy were cold and sweaty. I never come accross on how does it look like when a baby is having tummyache. Thanks goodness that my confinement aunty was still around and she immediately noticed baby's condition. How could I be such a careless and insensitive mummy?!?! I blamed myself for not being a good mummy. Poor baby....I would sacrifice a thousand of things than seeing him suffering.....

I've learnt a new baby growing lesson today, and I'll definately be more sensitive towards baby's every move and action in the future. I love you, baby!

I noticed that there are some white spots in his mouth, suspected that it was thrush. So brought him to the clinic. True enough, it was thrush. The culprit? his finger sucking habit recently  :(

Weight: 5.6kg (he has put on another kg in just 2 weeks?!?!?! Wow...)

Mummy & Baby Bathing Experience

I've finally take up the courage to bath my little baby boy today (of coz under the strict supervision of my assitant- confinement aunty) ! It was a great experience and i've overcome another milestone for my motherhood journey. I think I did a great job as baby did not cry nor fuss throughout the whole bathing session. Well done!  :)

Favourite drink: Milk (he is always asking for milk the 1st thing he wakes up!)

Least favourite drink: water

Favourite activity: sticking to whoever is willing to carry him like a koala bear

OR

Enjoy: bathing time when he can play with the water

Able to: make face expression, telling you that he needs to poo. Good at poo-ing at da poo poo bin when we asked him to ''uummhhhh..... uuummmmhhhh.....''

Gets excited: when we say gonna bring him to kai-kai(shopping). He must have inherited the love of shopping from me,hahaha

Dislike: dark place. He needs the light to be switched on when he goes to bed at night

Likes to baby talk: e.g. ''ang..goo..'' when he's in good mood

Fuss: when he need our attention to bath or clean his pee/ poo. He hates to be dirty!

It has been quite awhile since I last dined out. So hubby decided to bring us out for dinner nearby our house to have an early mooncake festival celebration- Korean food!! Yummy!~!~!

This was also baby Jayden's first time dining out at nite (although all he 'eats' is just milk). He performed well throughout the whole dinner session.....

My Black Friday

ok,today is just not my day!

I couldn't sleep well last nite because my arms were totally numb AGAIN! Yes, I have been having sore and numb arms everynight for the past weeks. I wonder whether it is associated with Carpal Tunnel syndrome. I am soooooooo worry now......

Then I was planning to have my own private shopping time after massage ( I deserve a small break from babysitting, huh!) when hubby asked me to fetch him from the office during lunchtime. Fine, no more shopping time then.

Went for massage and had my first weight measurement since I've delivered. I was shocked that I'm 53 kg!! Gosh, I'm still soooooo fat!! I really miss my old waistline and slim figure......... Please teach me what is the best way to slim down.. I'm desperate!

Was rushing to fetch hubby after massage. So I paid my RM6 for a 2 hours parking at the autopay machine and rushed to get my car. I totally forgot to take my parking ticket at the machine....When I realised it within the next 5 minutes, rushed to the autopay machine again but my ticket was GONE!!! To cut the story short, someone else took my ticket(the security managed to trace it from the CCTV) and I had to pay for another RM35 for lost ticket. This is the first time in my life that i was fined with lost ticket. Aaaarrrrggghhhhh........

What a moody Friday!

But I thank God that my little baby boy has brighten up my day the minute I saw him when I reached home....

Baby Is 1 Month Old!

Our little baby is exactly 1 month old today! And I've been an official for a month too! Wow, I can't believe it. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family and a beautiful little baby. This is indeed the best gift from God.

Hubby and I often talked about how amazing a human life can be- how the sperm and egg meet, and then turn into embryo. After 9 months, a beautiful little baby is born and how it grows up so quickly that sometimes you wish to slow down the time....

Dear Jayden,

Thank you for making this a perfect family with your arrival. You are indeed our precious gem! We thank you for bringing in so much joy and laughter into this family, and giving us the opportunity to be parents. We love you now and forever.....

Baby's 1st Shopping Spree

Hooray, it's 'kai kai' time!!
Today was the first time we brought him out for 'jalan-jalan' apart from going to the hospital only. Initial plan was to go morning market to buy some groceries, but most of the stalls have closed for business by the time we reached. Guess we'll need to be earlier next time, hehehe...
 
So we ended up going to Tesco, The Curve, to buy our groceries instead. See, I still love shopping for groceries in hypermarket/ supermarket instead of 'pasar'!I'm sure baby agrees with me too, huh!! Hehehe...

My Confinement Month Assignment

Everyone tells me that confinement month is worse than in jail- can't wash the hair for 1 whole month, can't eat certain food, can't be expose to wind, can't go out of the house, etc......But I'm actually enjoying myself very much,spending 24 hours at home with my little baby boy and seeing him grows up day by day.

Apart from that, I have a big assignment on hand- organising and preparing for baby's upcoming fullmoon party.

Baby Is 4 Weeks Old

Baby is exactly 4 weeks old today! Can't believe that he has grown up so much within these 4 weeks...

Brought him for monthly check-up today as well as to have his 2nd dose of Hepatitis B injection. He was such a good boy that he did not cry at all while we were waiting patiently for our turn. While on the other hand,  i was very worried that he would cry non-stop when he was given the injection.I guess that is the natural reaction of every mum (especially new mummies like me)!

When doctor gave him the injection, he cried out loudly. But to my surprise, it only last for 2 seconds(yes, he only cried for 2 seconds!!) then continued looking around the consultation room with curiosity. Baby, mummy is sooooooooooo proud of you (for NOT fussing and crying non-stop like a loud speaker). You deserve a BIG hug from mummy and daddy!
