~%~ Th3 ProPoSaL~%~

Date: 30th April 2009

Time: 6.55am

Venue: Our 'home sweet home' room

Procedure: Bf woke me up for work as usual. I was lying on the bed unwilling to wake up. Gosh, I wish it was holiday today.......It was weird that bf was kneeling down next to my bed, so i turned my head to see what was he up to. To my surprise, there was a ring right next to my pillow and he said,'' Will you be my wife?''. He then helped me to put the ring onto my finger, without waiting for me to answer ''Yes'' or ''No''....

I felt funny rather than touched or romantic, that's weird hor.......Guess those romantic proposal scene only happens in movies......

Was jokingly asked him where were the flowers?I thought flowers are a must when come to wedding proposal?!?! He just answered, ''you're holding the flowers already!''. Know what he mean? I was hugging my teddy, and there were flowers at its pink dress!!!!

Is this idea the latest wedding proposal?!?!
Vote ''Yes'' if you think it's romantic and sweet
Vote ''No'' if you think this is toooooo funny for a wedding proposal

HaPpY AnNiV3rSaRy, My D3aR...

Happy 2nd Anniversary, my dear!

29th April 2009, our 2nd anniversary. Started off my day having breakfast with CEO. Gee, it was not an 'easy' breakie, especially when we had to think of the conversation with our CEO, a British!!

Then came lunch time. Went to KLCC and had a quick lunch with Ling Nee. at Sakae Sushi. Had a great time catching up with her, talking about my wedding preparation, work, hubby and life after married(Nee, you know what I mean hor...). Aunty Ki, you MIA again in this outing lah, you were with Tiffy again ah?!?!

Time at work passed sooo slow. Had a hectic day at office, phone ringing none stop, emails kept coming in, agents enquiries none stop....Hai, I prayed that time would pass faster, even just 1 second.....
At last, it was dinner time, our anniversary dinner. We decided to go for buffet at Latest Recipe, Le Meridien. No fancy candle light dinner this round, just some cozy and relax place where we would eat to the max. ..

Dear, thank you for loving me more and more each day and cherish our relationship. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am, but I just want to let you know that you're my best soulmate. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!

HoNg KoNg TriP III

Third day was our crazy shopping spree!!!! Konnie was our tourguide of the day, brought us to numerous shopping malls and we bought a handful of stuff!!!This is what we call shopping spree....No photos for the day as we were tooooooo busy shopping!!! Wuahahah......

We had a gathering steamboat dinner with our HongKy friends- Konnie( the forever pretty and slim), Christina (24 hours sexy lady), Man Yiu (our 'driver' when we went for groceries during uni life in Melbourne), Anson( who used to look like Hong Kong actor,Chan Hou,but a fatter version) and Di-di Ko (the successful programmer). Had a great time laughing and chatting....

Since the next day was Konnie's birthday, we all got her a cake to cut at our hotel room after the dinner.....This is a very meaningful trip coz we manage to celebrate her birthday together....(photos will be posted soon!! if i remember later...hehhee..)

Time passes soooo fast. It was almost 1am when we had to say goodbye for the nite....

Rise and shine!! Christina was on leave, so she volunteered to bring us around for shopping. Started off with Yam Cha at 'Hong Kong Island'( both Cherry and I took a 1 hour bus ride to reach there....Piew.....), then went to Jumbo(famours seafood floating restaurant) for a few photo snaps.

Cherry went to Ocean Park while I went to Stanley Park with Christina for a walk. What a relaxing outing! it reminds me of the days at St. Kilda beach, Melbourne, where I would spend my sunny days at, having sun bathing and sipping skinny cappucino....

Strolling around Stanley Market while enjoying the nice scenery...

After that, went for shopping whille waiting for Cherry....

Next destination-Madamme Tussade!!!! Was so excited and curious whether it would be like the one in London. Gee, I missed the time we went to London for holiday.....

Kelly Chen in wedding gown....
Hong Kong singer, Janice, with Christina, Cherry and Beverly(we're trying to be cute :P )

With The Royal Family....
Can you spot us???

Christina with Hong Kong's rich and famous, Lee Kah Seng.....
Cherry's new boyfriend, Andy Lau....

Easter season and Madamme Tussade.....

What a fun day. But I still prefer Madamme Tussade in London......

HoNg KoNg TriP PaRt I

Woke up at 5.30am to wash up and got ready for our adventurous trip. Cherry stayed overnite at my place, so we could go to KLIA together. Thanks bf for offering to send us to airport so early, especially on a Saturday morning when you could just sleep in....

Reached KLIA early, so checked-in and decided to shop around at the boarding area. This was really a shopping trip for both Cherry and I, coz we started buying chocs and clothes even at KLIA. I must stop buying for now, or else my luggage will be overweight!!!!!!

Ting! Ting! Time to board the plane (thanks goodness it's MAS this round, not Airasia, so we didn't have to worry about flight delay etc). Watched The Holiday during our journey to HK. Although i've watched this movie a couple of time, but it just feel so relaxing watching it again during my own holiday, and it's starred by Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, my favourite movie star!!

1 hour passed....
2 hours passed...
3 hours passed....
Finally we reached HK airport!!! Hooray....

This trip both Cherry and I decided to go for more adventurous try since this was not our 1st trip to HK. Took a bus from airport to the hotel, luckily it was not as hard as we thought!

Checked-up to the hotel and cured our empty tummy. Had HK famous Wantan Mee at our hotel cafe. Not bad though.....It was drizzling outside, so we decided to visit Cherry's relative that evening. Not knowing whereabout is their residence, all we had was a piece of paper with the address. Adventurours time again! Held a taxi and on our way to our destination...

Not bad wor, we managed to find the place. Had a long chat with her relative, then dinner time. First dinner at Hk this trip was something extraordinary. We went for international buffet dinner instead of typical HK delicacies....Eat, eat, eat!Drink, drink, drink! Tsim Sar Tsui shopping time was our next mission. Didn't manage to buy anything coz shops were closing.....

What a day to start off at Hong Kong......

GeT AwAy FrOm WoRk

Now is 6.19PM, I'llbe flying off to Hong Kong for my shopping spree with Cherry in less than 24 hours. Excited? Not really, partly is because can't spend too much on this trip(no more shopping madness for this round) as my big day is just around the corner, and partly is because I've been there a couple of times already...BUT of coz I'm delighted that I don't need to work the next few days and can get my mind out of work....

Well, any good recommendation for me to shop in Hong Kong? Any good food? Any chic place to hang out?Do drop your valuable comments ya....

Til then.... I'll be on 'silent mode' for the next few days until my return.......C ya, readers!~!~!~

10 Tips for Baking a Perfect Cupcake

Follow these tips for baking perfect cupcake treats for your friends and family.

1. Fill your cupcake wells 1/2 to 2/3 full. Any more and you will get a gooey mess instead of a beautiful cupcake. If you use less than 1/2 a well of batter, then you will get wimpy cupcakes and will have to use extra frosting to make them look larger.

2. Choose the right cupcake pan. Good cupcake pans are shiny and on the heavy side. They will cook 6 to 12 cupcakes at a time. Large muffin pans don't work well for baking precious little cupcakes. Make sure you have 2 pans available because then you won't have to cool a pan before you finish baking your cupcakes. Two 12 well cupcake pans should be enough for one batch of cupcakes.
3. Make it easy o remove the cupcakes from your pan. Either use paper or foil wrappers or spray the individual wells with a nonstick spray. If you are using the new silicone pans, wrappers or nonstick spray work fine in these also.

4. Don't overmix your batter. This will cause your cupcakes to be rather chewy instead of perfectly moist. Follow the directions in your cupcake recipe. If your recipe calls for a hand mixer and you are using a stand mixer, you will need to reduce you mixing time. Stand mixers mix batters faster than regular hand mixers. Consult your owners manual for mixing time adjustments.

5. Bring all ingredients to room temperature before mixing your cupcake batter. The items will mix evenly, and the result will be a wonderful cupcake batter. By mixing cold items into your batter, you risk having a lumpy batter which might cause you to overmix your batter. GASP! What a No No!

6. Bake your cupcakes at the proper temperature. Preheat your oven to the correct temperature BEFORE you put your cupcakes in the oven. An oven thermometer would also be a great idea to make sure your oven is set to the right temperature. If your oven cooks food faster at the rear of the oven, then make sure you rotate your cupcake pan halfway through the baking time.

7. Use your favorite cake batter to make cupcakes. Batter for an 8 inch layer cake usually makes 20-24 cupcakes. Just make sure you have mixed the batter well, and only fill the cupcake liners 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake approximately 20 minutes, and check for doneness using a toothpick or cake tester inserted into the center of the cupcakes.

8. Test for doneness after the minimum cooking time. If the cupcakes aren't finished cooking after the minimum time, then place them back in the oven for some additional cooking time. Cupcakes are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

9. Cook only one pan of cupcakes at a time. Place your cupcake pan in the very center of your oven. If your oven tends to cook items more that are towards the back, then rotate your cupcake pan halfway through the cooking time. If you absolutely have to bake 2 pans of cupcakes at one time, make sure you switch cupcake pans halfway through the cooking time. By this I mean put the bottom pan on the top and move the top pan to the bottom.

10. Cupcakes are best eaten the same day they are made. Undecorated cupcakes can be frozen up to 3 months.

Why don't you bake your favorite cupcakes now? Enjoy one as soon as it's ready and then either share the rest with friends or freeze them for your future enjoyment!

Happy Easter, my dear readers!! Gee, I used to believe that there will be easter bunny and easter eggs all around the garden and everyone is happily searching for easter eggs as treasure hunt rewards, this was one of the reason I love to go church during Easter when I was a kid..hehehe.....

Kicked off my day at The Gardens for spa this morning while bf went for facial...This week is a pampering week for me after a hectic week at work...I wish I can pamper myself everyday and don't need to work, just like the rich society(i'm day dreaming again!!)....

After spa, bf decided to bring me for movie since I've been longing to watch Confession Of A Shopaholic. It's very rare for me wanting to watch a movie, not to mention going to the cinema!! I just find going to cinema and watch movie is a waste of time. But this movie is the 1 that can't be missed. I was soooooo excited and wondered if the story would be the same as the 1 in the novels...
Salute to Rebecca Bloomwood, the shopaholic!!! This is certainly the best movie of the year for me..It tells the heart of a shopaholic and it touches me so deeply(that I wanna go shopping again..)wuahahha.....Trust me, this show is worth watching!! I absolutely enjoyed the movie and decided to buy the dvd for collection onces it's on sale. Ooohhh....Gucci, Prada, YSL, etc, u name it!!! Those dresses worn by Rebecca were superb!!!

Gosh... after the show, I got the urge to start shopping again(strange, should have stop shopping after watching the movie, but I think this is what people say 'side effect'). Bf, let's go shopping!!!!! Off we went...

Mission accomplished!!! Bought a Mont Blanc wallet for my bf since our dating anniversary is just around the corner. He loves it very much!! Yeah......And i'm happy too, coz after all, it's shopping!! Didn't get myself any dresses or shoes, but bought myself Godiva Chocolates for my Easter treat instead!!!! Excuse again (i know, i know...but i just need a good excuse to shop)!!Good chocolates are gals best friend next to diamond, they're the best comfort, especially GODIVA, my all time favourite choc!!!!
Yummy....I'm eating now while blogging -_-'''''

Yawwwnnnnn......I wish I could sleep in for the whole day!!!! Weekends are the only days I could sleep til the sun rise and shine through the curtains....

Today was a Lazy Saturday!!! Bf decided to cook American breakie as a hearty breakfast to start off the day. Yummy, thanks for doing the cooking, dear!!

Then went for facial at Starhill in the afternoon. It was raining outside, so it was a relaxing afternoon to pamper myself at my favourite place.....Cool!!! I wish a have my own beauty saloon right at my house, so that I can do facial/spa whenever I want!!!

After that, went to SS17 for Angeline's birthday dinner. This year she chose MyElephant as her birthday dinner venue, unique and cozy place located at quiet neighbourhood. Thai food for birthday dinner, wise choice! The food was great, and the ambiance was superb!!!! We all had a great time catching up and gossip from A to Z......

GaLs TaLk !!

It was such a longgggg week..Finally Friday came....Was demotivated during work, just wanted to finish all my work and leave office early today....guess I'm pissed off with the current workload!!!Who doesn't?!?!?!

Then came 7pm, time to leave office..yeah!!! Was raining heavily outside, but I've got a 'date' with my good friend who will be here for the weekend to choose her wedding gown for photo shooting..

Headed to The Curve to meet Leanne and her fiance for dinner. Gal, soooooo nice to see you again. It's been months since we last met!!!! So excited with all your updates on your wedding preparation. And of coz your wedding gown.!!!

We had a great time browsing though Leanne's pictures in wedding gown and chatting nothing but wedding stuff.....She looks gorgeous on this gowns.......I wonder how she'll look like on her actual day, she will surely be the prettiest bride on earth!!!!

Spent a couples of hours chit-chatting while his poor fiance was bored to the max!!! What to do?!? When 2 or more gals start talking, it'll never stop..wuahhaha.......

We had a good time discussing our own wedding preparations before we had to say good bye for the nite.....Gee, I miss you, gal!!!!! Please come back to KL again, SOON!!!!!!

StuPiD DriV3r

We finally managed to book the wedding venue which we wanted!!!HoooOOoooRaaaYYyyy!!!! This is one of the best news for the day. So bf decided to treat me for dinner by bringing me to Kepong for roast pork rice. What!!! Not again?!?!?! I've been eating the same food for many times lately ley.....But what to do, since bf wanted to eat, off we went.

Happily driving towards Kepong at about 7pm+ was damn hungry + stupid traffic jam......What to do, that's the 'beauty' of KL--> traffic jam!! Suddenly, our car was bang by another WSH 2408 Kia Spectra from the driver's seat. The impact was so huge that we could feel that the car have 'bounced' meters away.......OMG!!!!! We honked the stupid driver to stop, but he did not stop at all and continued to drive....This is crazy, now i believe there's really such thing as 'hit and run' cases. We followed the stupid car from behind for 30 minutes and he acted as though nothing happen......

Most Wanted Stupid Driver:

WSH 2408
Kia Spectra

Readers, beware of this car/driver....

Gave up after following his car from the back, we drove to the nearest policy station and made report....What an unfortunate Thursday!!! Pity my 'fei mui' car...she has been knocked and 'hurt' many times lately, why people like to bang my CAR?!?!?!?!

After lodging police report, headed for dinner(no mood oso need to eat gar...). Who knows the roast pork rice shop was closed for the day...What The!!!!! Ended up chose a nearby stall and had the following food as our dinner...

Yeah, I know we both eat a lot...who cares!!!!!

Hi Hi readers, I've finally reached LCCT(only...still another hour before the plane take off, sigh.....), so my bf & I decided to haveKFC for dinner, no other better choice in LCCT hor......We order the usual dinner plate combo and toasted twister combo meal. I think I'm gonna have chicken phobia soon, especially on fried chicken.....

I've got something to share with you. Have any of you seen a guy using cutlery while eating KFC?? Well, my bf has this extraordinary habit of using cutlery while eating KFC. I got freaked out when I first saw a guy being so 'gentle' when it comes to eating these sort of food. Aren't we suppose to use our fingers to eat it, as the advertisement goes ''Finger Licking Good!!"..hehehehe....My bf is sure an exceptional species...wuahhahaha.......

See what I mean...

Since it's still early to go into the boarding hall, order another cup of capuccino at Coffeebean while update my blog now.....
I saw the other table ordering the carrot cake, looks yummy lah.....I think i can still finish another slice of cake eventhough I've just had my dinner. Bad bf doesn't allow me to eat...I'm craving for my cake now.....I'm gonna take revenge!!(He 'demand' me not to upload his fat photos in this post, but I don't care....)
